Ericsson 3 crossed the finishing line to win Leg 5 of the Volvo Ocean Race at 10:37:57 GMT on Thursday, 26th March. More on this later.
The virtual race, run on the Volvo Ocean Race website, for Leg 5 was won nearly two days ago by 'HedgeHog' skipper Jan-Jakob, one of 180,000 registered players. A few skippers and navigators in the actual fleet must be wishing they'd followed his routing!
