Thirty boats gathered at Circolo Vela Torbole on Lake Garda, Trentino in Italy to compete from today on until Friday in the 5.5 World Championship.

"A fabulous first day" explained Kaspar Stubenrauch. Wind between 16 and 20 knots and two races sailed. Although some minor repairs are needed on a few boats, a bunch of happy sailors returned to the club for an after racing cocktail invitation organized by our friend Felix Bibus. "Thank you Felix for the invite. We miss you on the water!"

Double bullets for Swiss sailor Flavio Marazzi and his crew today!
