Carlo Magna, President of Venezia Challenge commented positively on the protocol of the 34th America's Cup, released yesterday.

PROTOCOL
"The definitive version of the protocol of the 34th America's Cup released yesterday outlines the will of the Defender to realise an intelligent and exciting sporting event, in a manner in which it stands to achieve all of its potential. The route of the regatta will be richer, and with more cameras and microphones on board will render the action more 'living', and bring it closer to the spectators."

ENTRY FEE
"We learn positively that the entry fee has been reduced from 1.5 to 1 million Euros and that there is real concern to balance the investments, exploiting these to the utmost against the costs of a team.

SPONSOR
Venezia Challenge has finished the definition of the top and middle management and is working full time to build the panel of sponsors who will accompany it to the most important challenge in the world, and will allow Venezia Challenge to inscribe itself within the ranks of these before the end of March 2011. Veenzia Challenge will continue its roadshow of presentations to the Italian businesses capable of contributing to the spread of Italian values in the world, from food to design, and fashion to the most innovative technology, considering that the new rules involve the build of types of 'aeroplane'.

YACHT CLUB
We have started a road show with some Italian yacht clubs, commencing with those who have already stated unofficially their availability to sponsor the challenge of Venezia Challenge. The club chosen will be able to support the first project flag that has ever been presented in the America's Cup. The project is designed to transmit to the world the values of the Italians and Made in Italy: for this cause the name of Venice was chosen as this, above all else, communicates Italy to the world, and, above all else, the yacht club that will be chosen will be more happy than any other to transmit these values."
