Leaving Lorient on 23rd May, the trimaran's trip to England took place in very good conditions.
The crew, led by Jacques Vincent, was also composed of Gaël Ledoux, Billy Besson, James Bird and Christophe Launay and arrived in Cowes on 25th May.
Since this time, joined by Alain Thébault, the trimaran has been sailing and training in southern England while waiting for the next forecast window to attempt the around the Isle of Wight record.
It is possible that the Hydroptère will make an attempt on the record this weekend (4-5 June), even if the conditions are not ideal.

Au départ de Lorient le 23 mai dernier, le convoyage du trimaran pour l'Angleterre s'est déroulé dans de très bonnes conditions.
L'équipage mené par Jacques Vincent, également composé de Gaël Ledoux, Billy Besson, James Bird et Christophe Launay est arrivé à Cowes, le 25 mai.
Depuis, rejoint par Alain Thébault, le trimaran navigue et se prépare dans le sud de l'Angleterre en attendant une prochaine fenêtre météo pour tenter le record du tour de l'île de Wight.
Il est possible que l'Hydroptère fasse une tentative de record ce week-end (4 - 5 juin 2011), même si les conditions ne sont peut-être pas idéales.
