The reception over the weekend for the seven boat fleet of the Volvo Ocean Race has been second to none.
Over 10,000 people came out in the early hours of Sunday morning to welcome home the fleet. “It has been huge, an absolutely amazing welcome, better than we could have ever hoped for," commented Green Dragon’s Irish bowman Justin Slattery, “It is going to be an awesome stopover."
