Matador and Vasco Vascotto finish in second place after two days without races due to strong winds.

After a week of difficult winds, Quantum Racing and Iberdrola took the Marseille Trophy in their respective series. Matador did well, second in the TP52 series, and Audi A1 powered by ALL4ONE was third. The Kiwis were fourth, but remain the the leaders of the circuit.

The last days were "off" for the crews, due to the strong wind, so the final results remain those of Friday afternoon, the day of the long race. Matador showed considerable enhancement in results compared with the stage in Cascais.

"It was an intense week; we had good moments, while at other times we hesitated", were the words of Vasco Vascotto, strategist of Matador. "The conditions were light winds on the first two days, and then the mistral arrived which put the crews to a hard test on the long race and then we had to remain on land. We know that we will be able to perform better in Barcelona, and certainty second is already an excellent place."

Quantum finished with 21.5 points, Matador in second position with 27, third Audi A1 Team powered by ALL4ONE with 29.5, fourth Team New Zealand with 31, and fifth Team Origin with the same score as the Kiwis.
