Triple8 (Multihull) picked up a buoy she certainly didn’t want - at the Top Mark – after dropping it off again and dutifully doing her 720, Triple8 continued racing.
Georgia won her first race (Division A IRC) – said George Hendry “It was shifty today and didn’t turn out to be the triangle course we had calculated – in fact it was all over the place. We went to the left and were just lucky it paid off – win some/lose some”

And we’re really pleased to welcome Peter Montgomery to our Regatta. Peter has offered to present the prizes Friday night. We look forward to his happy personality and well known voice booming through the North Sales Tent.
Tonight the Bay of Islands Sailing Week arranged free snacks for all crews mingling in the tent. Music by the “Furious Three” from Whangarei. Lots more photos on the website, along with the results.
