The countdown is on to Sail Auckland 2011 with just three weeks until registration day for New Zealand’s premier regatta for Olympic, Paralympic and invited classes.

What: Sail Auckland 2011
When: Racing on 3, 4, 5 and 6 February, 2011
Venue: Takapuna Boating Club
Olympic Classes including: RS:X, Laser, Laser Radial, 470, Finn and 49er
Paralympic classes including: 2.4 metre, SKUD18 (more info here)
Other classes including: 420 and 29er
Takapuna Boating Club will play host the event for the first time ever with racing set to be staged on three courses off the North Shore beaches, the same race tracks used for the World Championships for the RS:X, Laser Radial and Tornado classes back in early 2008, as well as an inner harbour course for the Paralympic classes off Westhaven.
This year promises exciting racing with New Zealand's best and international competition expected in the single-handed Laser class, the heavy-weight single-handed Finn, the Paralympic classes and more.
