ALL4ONE will start racing tomorrow in the the Louis Vuitton Trophy in Nice, for the first race of the day against Emirates Team New Zealand, (the last race of the day against Artemis has been postponed due to the lack of wind at the end of the day).
The French-German team will race on its own boat, FRA 93, and will enter starboard (on the committee boat side).
They said:
John Cutler, Tactician: « the conditions are not easy as far as what we have been able to observe today in the first matches, and the key is to take a good start and the right side of the race course. But it is not always easy to combine it all. »
Sebastien Col, Helmsman: « the weather is quite difficult, and the forecasts are not quite the same as the real conditions on the race course. We will have to take this into account during the competition. The little surprise came from the the match between TeamOrigin vs Synergy, where we were expecting a toughest battle between the two teams, but Synergy made a mistake and got a penalty at the start, so it was quite simple after for TeamOrigin until the end of the race. Concerning tomorrow's racing, we want to enter the competition the best possible way, and we are really concentrated.”
The other matches of tomorrow will be Artemis vs TFS Pages Jaunes, BMW Oracle Racing vs Synergy and TeamOrigin vs Azzurra.
The boat will dock out very early from the port of Nice (7h30) in order to offer a beautiful scenery for the runners of the marathon starting at 8h00 from the Promenade des Anglais towards Cannes.
The first race ALL4ONE vs Emirates Team New Zealand should start around 9h00.
