Will Tiller's FMJ Racing Top after Round Robin at Maritim Cup, Helsinki

After a second day of racing, Will Tiller's FMJ Racing team from New Zealand gained five more victories to come top in the round robin at the Maritim Cup, Helsinki, Finland, with a 9-1 scoreline. The ISAF Grade 2 event is being held in J80s, and run by the Nyländska Jaktklubben.

After two days' of racing the top four boats go forward to the semi-finals. The top four are Tiller (NZL), Sehested (DEN), Lumijärvi (FIN) and Nyberg (FIN); the last three all obtained 7-3 scorelines from the round robin.

As winner of the round robin, Tiller (NZL) is able to pick his opponent in the semi-finals. Australia's David Chapman and France's Mathieu Durand just missed out on the semi-finals, with 6-4 scorelines.

On-the-water assessment of international umpires is taking place at the event in parallel with the competition. The umpires's seminar is led by Marianne Middelthon (NOR) and John Doerr (GBR).
