Fun for bucks, it is pretty hard to go passed a Hartley 16. The Hartleys have just had their New Zealand Championships at Thames Sailing Club and what a turn out with 19 boats at this panoramic venue.
We saw some very competitive sailing over the nine race series, sailed in moderate to heavy conditions. “Tight Fit” from Manukau Yacht and Motorboat Club skippered by R Durrant and C Leuty crew coming away with first place, followed by “Rumbo” (New Plymouth) W Holt and in third place “Pronto”(Manukau) G Insley.
