Match Racing at Pärnu in Estonia. Supplied image.

Aon Racing is in Estonia for Parnu sailing week, a grade 2 regatta which runs through to Sunday. Ten teams are competing in this regatta, including Australia's Keith Swinton and fellow Kiwi William Tiller. The team is staying in a health resort, with dentists and skin specialists etc nestled in between the regular rooms. Hopefully none of us will need these facilities, but it's nice to know there's an optometrist on standby if you need one!
Aon Racing finished the day with 3 wins and 1 loss to the Russian team, who took their chances well to pass us on a shifty second upwind leg. We managed an important win against local sailor Matti Sepp, who is familiar with the venue and known for his speed in these boats. Tomorrow will bring us to the business end of the round robin, with the top four teams progressing to the semi finals on Sunday.
We would to thank our principal sponsor, Aon Insurance Brokers, as well as Club Marine and Allianz for their support. Thanks also to the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and our friends and family.
Aon Racing is Reuben Corbett (Skipper), Adrian Short (Main), Tom Blampied (Trim) and Tom Bentham (Bow).
