They came. They went round (the Isle of Wight) a couple of times and have yet to conquer...
Christophe Launay was onboard for the delivery from France. Here's how it went in a nutshell.
LD: Where did you leave?
CL: Lorient
LD: Where did you arrive?
CL: Cowes, Isle of Wight
LD: How long did it take?
CL: 2 days altogether
LD: Top speed?
CL: 30 kts
LD: Lowest speed?
CL: 0.8 kts
LD: Was it cold?
CL: Cold when fast
LD: What did you eat?
CL: No burner. No stove, so sandwiches with tasty country bread cheese and meat
LD: Did you sleep dressed?
CL: With boots off
LD: How many people were you?
CL: 5
LD: Favourite moment?
CL: Passing through the Needles (rocky entrance to the Solent, rocky western tip of the Isle of Wight) at 25kts
LD: Worst moment?
CL: There wasn't one.
LD: Funniest moment?
CL: Many!
LD: Expectations...?
CL: To go faster
LD: Reality...?
CL: I want to fly close to the water again! And I miss my little cabin for sleep at 45 cms above the water.
