All Shook Up - Naval Point Yacht Club

Naval Point Yacht Club survived the recent big Christchurch quake with minimal damage; however a slippage caused loose dirt, boulders and other debris to fall against the premises. The situation was then compounded by the loosening of more debris in the following aftershocks, on Wednesday morning. The club was mostly unscathed, but a number of windows were shattered, and two fire hydrants at the marina burst when the decking surrounding them became dislodged during the initial tremor.

The club office is open and continues to operate as normal, albeit a little dusty.
