Simone Ferrarese of Italy defeated New Zealand's William Tiller (FMJ Racing), 2-1, in the championship final of the Grade 2 Ficker Cup match racing regatta late Sunday afternoon to win the 10th entry slot in next week's Grade 1 47th Congressional Cup. Details to follow.
