The 62m double-masted schooner ATHOS designed by Andre Hoek will compete in its first ever regatta at the 2011 Superyacht Cup this week in Palma, 22-25 June.

Launched in 2010 in Holland, ATHOS is the world’s largest privately owned double-masted schooner measuring a total 62m/203ft including a 62m carbon fibre main mast and 23.5m carbon fibre boom. The yacht arrived in Palma over the weekend and the crew have been busy preparing the yacht for the regatta. ATHOS will compete with the 20 strong fleet for the 16th edition of the popular Superyacht Cup starting on Wednesday.
