The alarm rang early for all sailors in the fourth day of racing in 470M and 470F, 49er, Laser Standard and Radial fleets. Since they are called to race 3+1 regattas today!
Starting from 9 am, the race began! Even if the wind shifts, passing from 6 to 15 knots.
The situation for FINN and Nacra17 is different, since they were able to sail all scheduled regattas, and could start today at 12 pm.
The Eurosaf Champions Cup Sailing is experiencing a new sailing format, with the Garda Trentino Olympic Week 2013, which will be officially adopted in the next Olympics Games. After two days of qualifying regattas, Gold and Silver Fleet are defined. Today is important because it establishes who will be eligible to race in the Medal Race tomorrow. Only the first 6/8 best teams winners in each fleet will be able to compete in the Medal.
