D35 Vulcain Trophy : SUI 9 rejoins the competition. skippered and helmed by Christian Wahl

Christian Wahl, tactician to both Ernesto Bertarelli and Dona Bertarelli on their D35 catamarans on Lake Geneva, and winner of the Bol d'Or, including the incredibly slow edition of 2010, won by Dona Bertarelli and her team on Ladycat, now has his own D35 to skipper and helm.

Wahl has brought Jean-Pierre Tiegert on board as his tactician on SUI 9.

The Vulcain Trophy starts this weekend with the Open de Versoix, but the first day's racing was cancelled due to a lack of wind. On the second day, racing commenced in the afternoon. The first race was won by Alinghi, with SUI9 finishing seventh.
